TIDE is funded by the Indigenous Culture Support program through the Office for the Arts, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet to support the Gangga Marrang Art Group for 2011-2012. The Gangga Marrang Art Group was formed under the CDEP and the current funding has enabled the Art Group to continue following the end of CDEP. The funding provides for a part time supervisor as well as administration and material costs. It is expected that at the cessation of the funding period that the Art Group will become a stand alone enterprise.
