MidCoast Aboriginal Ranger School Based Traineeship

This Ranger traineeship pathway at TIDE runs for 2 years and involves school students undertaking both industry based work experience and Certificate 2 training in Conservation and Land Management as part of their HSC.

This year, 2018 TIDE has employed 5 year ten Aboriginal students from Taree High School and Chatham High School to be involved in the program. In partnership with Booroongen Djugun, nationally accredcited training achieved by the students will enable the participants to apply for jobs in the industry after they finish the traineeship.
