
Indigenous community support service
The ICSS (formerly ICL) has been operating in Taree, Port Macquarie and Wauchope, with outreach to Wingham and Gloucester, since 2010. The service focuses on the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal clients, their families and their communities.
Our staff conduct holistic client Intake and develop case management plans in collaboration with clients.These may include advocacy, liaison and referral. Assistance can be provided in areas such as welfare, social support, family violence, health (including drug and alcohol services), housing, child care, education and legal issues.
ICSS staff support client self determination and the development and fostering of relationships with other service providers.
Accessing ICSS: We accept self referrals and agency referrals. We provide a welcoming, culturally appropriate environment for clients, with free access to telephone, computers, Internet and fax machines. All referrals and contacts are strictly confidential.

Taree: Monday-Thursday 9.30am to 3.30pm
Port Macquarie/Wauchope: Monday to Thursday 9.30am- 2.30pm,
