Taree Indigenous Development & Employment (TIDE) Ltd is seeking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants for the above position for 14 hours per week

Essential criteria:

  • demonstrated knowledge and understanding of indigenous societies and cultures and an understanding of the issues affecting indigenous people in contemporary Australian society and the diversity of circumstances of indigenous people,

  • experience in working in the school environment and working with school aged indigenous people and families,

  • a broad understanding of basic natural resource management activities, and

  • a Class C Driver’s License

This is a designated position for persons of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, New South Wales.
