WORKING ON COUNTRY

Working on Country Aboriginal Rangers (WOC)

Since 2009 TIDE has been contracted by the Department of Prime Minister & Cabinet to deliver the WOC Program and our current contract runs until 30th June 2021. The WOC Program provides wages, administrative and operational support for Aboriginal Rangers based in Taree, Forster, Gloucester and Karuah. The WOC Aboriginal Rangers undertake work on lands of importance to Aboriginal people including Aboriginal Land Council Lands and Aboriginal Places.

Commercial Aboriginal Rangers

The Commercial arm of the TIDE Aboriginal Rangers employs additional rangers who undertake natural resource management works for a range of clients including NPWS, Mid Coast Council, Local Land Services, Crown Lands, the National Landcare Program and private landholders.
